DENVER, Nov. 5, 2026, (TECH INFO SCENE) — Digital infrastructure company Vantage has appointed Dale Drew Chief Information Security Officer.
Drew will lead Vantage’s global information security organization across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific and will report to Emily Friedberg, Chief Information Officer.
His responsibilities will include enterprise security strategy, protection of critical assets, regulatory compliance and cyber risk management.
“As Vantage continues to scale, our cybersecurity capabilities need to mature with the business. Dale brings deep experience operating in complex, critical infrastructure environments and understands how to connect security, risk and resilience to the needs of the business and our customers. That is exactly the perspective we need as we grow,” said Friedberg.
Drew joins Vantage from EchoStar and DISH Network, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for DISH Wireless and led security architecture at EchoStar.
In those roles, he oversaw areas including enterprise cybersecurity strategy, security architecture, threat intelligence and AI governance.
“Vantage sits at the center of how the world’s most advanced digital infrastructure gets built, which makes security a design requirement, not an afterthought. I look forward to working with the team to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and give customers confidence in Vantage from day one,” said Drew.

He began his career with the U.S. Secret Service and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, specializing in cybercrime investigations and digital forensics.
Drew holds 16 patents spanning cybersecurity, network technologies and AI governance and has testified before Congress on cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection.
Vantage provides digital infrastructure for AI and cloud companies, with operations across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
